tomato soup - full fliud stage, ???

I ate tomatoe soup without any issues - and it tasted awesome!!! LOL

I ate it no problems but only like 1 or 2 oz ...but in my error I never thought that there would be that much sugar in it. I was making Cabbage Rolls last weekend and to my shock looked at the sugar and it was 14!!! That was Campbells and we had a can of Heintz(sp lol) and it was 9. I was surprised I didn't dump on it. I guess it's just all trial and error!!! Good Luck!!

Tomato soup has a very high acidic rate and this early out your tummy/pouch might not handle it real well.

I just reviewed my 'Cleveland Clinic Bible' and it indicates that I can't have tomoto soup until 'Regular Diet'.
I did see a post some time ago though that someone had it when they were in the hospital.
I think that it has something to do with the acid being to hard on your pouch as it is healing.

Wow Cherie - you are shrinking before our eyes.  Way to go! 

I would also wait to try the tomato soup - it is very acidic & I don't think it would be good for your new lil pouch.

They actually gave me tomato soup in the hospital, I was very scared as all post said not to eat that and when I spoke to them, they said because of the amount we are eating 1-2 oz its fine. When you read the label it talks about 1/2 can serving with those sugars so if you are only having small amount it should be fine. That being said after I was let out of the hospital and to date I haven't had again lol.
