I don't believe there is one in the Peterborough area atm :(

I know I try to make the Durham meetings when I can, and there are ppl that come from Peterborough now and again....so long n short of it....Peterborough peeps usuallly either attach to Durham (we meet in north Whitby) or Belleville (which I am also "part of"...but alot more involved with Durham).

I didnt even know u were in Peterborough LOL!! We will have to definiatly meet up somewhere one day, Im in Oshawa!

A big thanks to all of the members that made it out to our first Thursday night meeting. I feel that the meeting was a great success and based on the feedback it was the beginning of great things to come.

We are hosting our next meeting on Thursday September 1 @ 7:00 pm. Future meetings will be hosted on the first Thursday of every month starting @ 7:00 pm.

Feel free to bring a guest for support.

We hope to see you all out to the next meeting. Feel free to email any questions or meeting ideas that you may have.

is it me or has the head of the support group never answered any questions here ABOUT THE DETAILS on the meetings ? I even PM-ed her when I just got here and really needed some support before the surgery. It's been almost a year now, I don't even see the point in inquiring anymore

I completely understand your frustration. I know it is likely further out for you, but there are groups that meet regularly in east and west end Toronto and I run a group in Mississauga. You are most welcome to join my group anytime! Additionally, you are most welcome to PM me anytime with questions, concerns, or just an ear to listen.

Support is essential. Support is only useful, however, if it is accessible and actually given as offered.
