OHIP APPROVAL FOR BREAST REDUCTION & PANNICULECTOMY
hi,
so you got approved for the panni???
does your pouch cause infections or things?? is that why it was approved? there is alot of confusion regarding coverage for that surgery. Im not sure yet if im going to need one or not, but my starting weight was 252, and i want to go down to 130. already judging by the way my stomach is losing weight, it looks like im going to have lose skin around the bottom area that i may not be happy keeping. how far down does your skin/apron fall??

Well first off I do get raw skin under my belly and as far as how much it hangs well it doesn't hang down an awful lots , just lots of loose skin . All the Dr. did the first time I saw him is ask what I wanted and said ok I'll send in for approval and call you when it come in . So he see's me next Thurs to discuss everything and book a date . After I see him I will know more and can answer better . I told him whatever I have done MUST be covered by OHIP so he knew that right from the beginning .

Diana, What wonderful news for you and the community ! This will be a dream come true. I would love to do the surgery in the future but know I can't do it without OHIP approval.
