Bonnie it does not surprise me that he stepped up like this- everyone raves about his dedication and skill- I know you will be in great hands!
As you are flirting with the staff- you should journal about your journey- hey you could even blog about it - and you could plan your retirement days for down there! Figure out how to get your goats down there with ya on top of the Mountain.

Ok so Bonnie a VACATION - its when you go away from your daily work/chores and take a break from your life so to speak - its to recharge your batteries/ feel refreshed and ready to come back and attack life again with new zest!
I know I know - foreign concept - spruce up on your spanish and I will pay for ya to come with me when I go ! You can be my Mountain Goat Mamma Tourguide! And of course get to see Dr S again and show him your new bikini! lol

Is all of this because you cannot be gentle with yourself and have "bothered" your incisions and done too much immediately after your surgery ( all the Mall walking and caving in Mexico? And then hit the ground running when back home?)...You are lucky Dr S is paying your airfare and hotel stay! But it is another reason why I am seriously thinking of limiting myself to Ottawa or Toronto or Montreal for plastics...plus the fact that travel insurance will not cover medical tourism trips, and if your car gets Tboned on the way to the airport after your recovery from surgery and the travel insurance co finds out the purpose of your trip was plastic surgery, they can and will cancel your health and accident insurance policy even if the car accident ( worst case scenario) is not your fault...You could be stuck with a huge hospital bill nothing to do with your plastic surgery !

Ah, lol, some people are downers. Made me laugh. Got to tell you girl, after the care and work I've seen from Dr S, there is no way in heck I'd stay in Ottawa, sorry. Not to start a who's surgeon is better than another, but this man has amazing skill with bariatric patients, and certainly goes way beyond the call of duty.
My fluid has nothing to do with my cave climbing lol. My fluid is because the drain was pulled too early, hoping the fluid would have escaped from the hole that appeared which is common at stress points. Three flaps of skin trying to hold it all together. When a body is or was, as huge as I had it, it has a large circulatory system. So I removed the fat, but it's still trying to compensate for my fat loss. Now we have someone cut off 10 pounds of skin and fat, and put me under for 13 hours. Of course my body doesn't know what the heck to do with all the fluid, only makes sense. And obviously it didn't. This is no fault of my dreamy Mexican surgeon, nor mine cause I can't sit on my ass, it has all to do with my body just not knowing how to absorb it's own fluid, and the fluid can't find a way out. Simple eh? And do you really think any Ottawa surgeon would even pay my gas to drive Ottawa? Nah, doubt it. Would any of those surgeons email me or call me any time of day or night, maybe a few, not all of them. I have such personal care with this man, well you may or may not know, out of country medical tourism is a huge industry. They cater to us, like no other. Even my rny in New York, better cared for than here. Dr. Graber's clinic has paid for things that OHIP wouldn't. Has your own doctor ever done that? Doubt it.
