Hey anabanana... I can't remember if it's too much sugar or not enough protein or what it is but Optifast is definitely NOT recommended post-surgery. Please consult your nutritionist. As you can see from this thread, there are loads of folks willing to take it off your hands. Cheers.

I think you probably could still use the optifast post-op if it fits in the diet that your clinic wants you to follow. I don't mind the taste of it myself but others seem to find it disagreeable.

Please don't wag your finger at me like I'm a 2 year old. If you are saying I'm wrong please tell me why. I said 'I think' meaning I'm not 100% sure (and I think most people would read it that way) and as long as it fits the diet that the clinic wanted post-op. Seeing as so many clinics and dieticians seem to differ are you absolutely positive that everyone will say no don't use up the optifast? I hope that most people here don't take what is said on this message board as gospel and talk to people at their clinic if there is any question about what they should and shouldn't eat or drink post-op.
