The hospital gave me softlax to take twice a day but it doesn't seem to do anything. How did milk of magenisium taste? Did it give you cramps?

3 weeks. In fact, I had not had a BM by the time my 3 week post -op appt rolled around.
At that time they recommended the laxaday type powder that you mix in your liquid.
SInce the conversation, 14 months ago, I've only had to use the powder a handful of times.
