Good point Leanne. It's definately not something I eat often, I just needed something for lunch and saw it at the store. I am trying to look at the sodium and this is bad...lol
I am going to start walking at lunch time, at work, now that the weather is better. Add another 1/2 hr.
Thanks to the suggestions...much appreciated.

Not to tell you what to do... and I absolutely mean no offence.. But if it was me and I had to go to the store anyways, I'd hit the deli for some deli meats (keilbasa, they can take the wrapping off for you and may even slice it up for you, or extra lean ham or turkey or a little of each for variety) and cheeses (they usually have small packages already sliced up in the vacuum sealed packages, you know?) Or if you like cottage cheese, you can get a small container of it and add some grapes or something. A  hospital I used to work at used to do this: 1/2 cottage cheese, few slices of kiwi, cut up strawberry and a few grapes (or just eat one fruit). Gives you the protein and good carbs (and fibre) you need and it's filling too.

Just some suggestions :D

Leanne I am pleased with your suggestions, truly. I usually do better, just some days it's such an effort. I often make loads of good food on Sunday and eat it for the week but sometimes by Thursday or Friday I'm sick of it. lol
Even though I am eating this fake crab while I type, I haven't eaten this for months and months. I knew it's wasn't a great choice and yet I bought it last night as I was tired and not organized for today. Poor excuse really.
As for the cold cuts etc...i tend to stay away from them because of the nitrates and sodium.
Somedays it's hard to get it right and the further away from surgery I get the more lax I get.
So here I am...laying it before you in order to get back to the basics. Continue to keep me in check...I appreciate your efforts.
