I look like a bag lady...

Well I have been avoiding buying cloths because of the change of season, and if the sun ever stays out and warms up,...I won't wear jeans again till October...so I have been avoiding buying anything til shorts season...but I have had a couple of friends give me things that fit me...which is really nice.... I was at the mall yesterday and got a good look at myself in one of the store windows....my size 16 body (I still have a hard time convincing myself its real) in size 24 cloths (the couple I have left I did sell most of my cloths) and I look like a bag lady!!! So I finally broke down and went to old navy for the first time ever for myself, since its been in our mall and bought a 16 shorts and a XL tshirt and stood stunned in the change room because they fit, and fit well. so Weird. very weird! I also bought XL undies (bye bye 3XL undies). That is a start anyway....

I bought a pair of jeans, only fit into them for a month so now I've resorted to buying inexpensive yoga pants!

Congrats! I can't wait until I can shop in the same stores I buy the kids' clothes in (Old Navy, Sears, Walmart). It will save a lot of extra running around for me.

ETA: Now I've got "Dude Looks Like A Lady" in my head, but using or post title!

Wow - Congratulations, Kelli! That must have given you such a lift to see how well those small sizes fit you!!!! What a great way to welcome the new season - gee, it's like it's your "rebirth" too - LOL!
