I went to HRRH today after my 5 mth checkup with the surgeon and the small pharmacy in the building where the NUT's are located, now sell Bariatric Advantage Vitamins. They carry just about everything....I bought the calcium chewables....and was told they are also going to be starting up a free delivery/shipping program as well. Could be worth looking into for those *****ally like BAV and have a hard time finding them...

I do like their vitamins but the shipping cost from the US was too high.  Now that I know I can get them at the Medical Building where the Bariatric Center is, I'm definately going to give them a try again.

Thanks Kim!

They varied in price, for the different vitamins. They carried B12's, Iron, Calcium, Multivits and a few other different ones that I didn't recognize cause I don't use them. I bought the chewable Calcium and they were around $45 for almost 300 pills I think. The address is 2115 Finch Ave. it's in the building right beside Humber Hospital (Finch site). It's by Hwy 400.

That's awesome!  Do you remember what flavours they had?  I have the cinnamon ones and I LOVE those, but I really want to try the chocolate.

Did they have the chewy bites calcium as well?

I don't remember seeing the chewy bites, but I know they had the chocolate for sure because I was trying to decide between the cinnamon, chocolate and the wild cherry. I ended up buying the wild cherry and they are really good! Maybe eventually I'll try all three...lol

Here's another Canadian source for Bariatric Advantage, out in BC but they will mail order to you, so no duties on handling  and cross border brokerage fees...but nice to know that your source is considering a mail delivery program as well as this one already in business...

FYI,you can open FeraMAX (I know I flog it so much you'd think I was on commission) capsules and dissolve the contents in your water, beverage, food etc.  It is flavourless and colourless, and as a polysaccharide iron does not have the nasty side effects common to iron salts like, constipation, GERD, nausea. . .and is better absorbed than iron salts
