Ok first one.. on Optifast is it normal to have very low energy? I went for a walk with my hubby and dog today was gone about half an hour and I am totally and utterly exhausted and drained with no enery what so ever is this normal?

Secondly.. does anyone know where the heck I can buy sugar free popsicles? I was told I could have those but cannot seem to find any anywhere.. and I was hoping to have some for this weekend as a special sort of snack for me as we are going camping and everyone is going to be eating chips, marshmallows, steak, potatoes, beer, drinks u name it everything I love and can't have lol.. HELP!!!

I found sugar free popsicles at walmart, I believe they are by the popscicle brand, and they come in grape orange and cherry. They got me through the opti-fast, and so did the broth and jello.  Have fun camping, and I hope the weather is good for you :)

Rather then buying SF Popsicles I bought a Popsicle mold and put crystal light drink into it and Voila !! another treat. Also now than I'm post-op i take a jar of baby food, usually prunes and add a 1/4 of the container to a liter of water and it helps keeping me regular instead of buying stool softeners.
Keep up the good work hun

I also make mine from crystal light, i got my molds at food basics for $2 but they have them at walmart for $4 and you get about 8 from one sachet of crystal light so way cheaper than buying popsicles.....

Hi there

I think the low energy is normal because you are not eating. Make sure you get your water in so you don't get dehydrated

The popsicles I have found pretty much in any grocery store, there are a couple of brands. You could always make your own too if you can't find them

Take care

Hi Sweet C. I bought my sugar free popsicles from No frills. They are made my Champman's. Also a great idea for making your own, crystal light like the others have said. Go to the $ store. They will have the molds there.....and yes, low energy...I'm on day 3-no hungar pains, just really slow today!

with regard to low energy, you're only giving your body about 900 calories a day, from that optifast. That equals low energy. You'll find that once your body gets used to it, you'll have more energy, but the whole time i was on optifast, i felt like i could just sit and sleep.
