Hot, Hot, Hot!

I have officially abandoned my plans to build an ark. 
 
The weather has turned hot and sunny finally.  For you fellow sun worshippers - let the summer begin.  

For those of you who prefer the cooler temperatures - sorry but it's finally our turn!

I'm hoping once I shed this 200lb coat that I'll be one of those people who enjoys summer too!  For now...it's a pain in the rear!  Too hot!  Too humid!  I'm hoping for a blast of snow sometime today.  LOL!  

I will admit, I really do love the sunshine just not the heat that comes with it!

i love sunny days..........however could do without humidity......lol.......i was freezing before but not anymore.........seems to have changed since the IV iron infusion but perhaps that is just a coincidence............

I have lost 103 pounds, and I still sweat like crazy, but I don't care.  Bring on the sun!! Bring on the summer dresses, sandals and pretty pedicures.  Bring on the patio parties and the inflatable kiddie pools!  I have had enough rain for 3 lifetimes.  Can't wait to get home and sit out in the backyard.  Maybe we'll eat outside tonight.  Ahhhhhhh summer, how I have missed you.  Welcome back.

Went for a quick 15-minute walk at lunchtime today, and had to shed my light Aubergine-coloured cotton top (thanks, Marni B.!) and strip down to my khaki tank top.

First time these biceps have seen sun ... and boy, did I sweat! But it felt so GOOOOD!

Finally!!!!!! Hay Simona, I use to loathe hot weather, between my pink, pink skin tone and ALWAYS being sweaty!! If it got over 70, sorry I'm American and metric resistant or just too dumb to figure it out , I would turn the air and fan on. Now I'm always freezing and can't wait to get outside person!

I love summer. I just hate the mosquitos and bees and wasps, well anything that stings actually. As a redhead and fair skin, I've already experienced my first sunburn of the year. I'm now in the peeling stages of it. I too sweat like there's no tomorrow (embarrassing), but I find winter too long and cold. Bring on the sun!!!
