swimwear
Not sure of exactly what you are looking for, as I don'****ch BL, but I do know that you can get almost anything custom made for a good price at Forbie's in Westboro. Lots of fabrics to choose from and made to measure. I used to get my kid's gymnastic outfits made there and know they also did swimwear.
Once I'm post -op and looking like a shar-pei, I know I'm heading there.

of course america makes the best clothing for us "plus size" women... and avenue has exactly what you're looking for... not sure if they have one that far east... is a shame... picked up 2 swimsuits a few weeks ago... 2 for under $60... amazing... too bad canada doesn't cater to the larger women... pennington's additionelle are nice.. but very costly..good luck!

I am looking for a swimsuit as well. Wow are those things ever expensive! I am loosing weight too fast to be putting so much money into a piece of clothing like that. 2 months ago I was a size 22 now I wear size 16-18. Never owned, shopped for or worn one of those so I will have a hard time finding an appropriate swimsuit.
I buy my swimware from an English plus size retailer called Evans. The prices are in pounds, but shipping to Canada is cheap, so when they have a sale the prices are quite good. I recently bought three bathingsuits I'm very happy with for about $100 (total).

Just be careful about sizes as theirs run smaller than ours by about two sizes; Canadian 18 = British 22. I also bought a dress and tunic that are both adorable, and ALL their shoes come in wide, Evans is my new favourite retailer... until I'm too small for it!

Thanks for the suggestions. I am looking for a swim bottom that looks like a bike short. Reason, is that my thighs are sagging because of all the weight I have lost and it does not look pretty. Saving up to have PS but in the meantime I need to hide the thighs! I am checking out SURF SIDE at 2222 Carling today. They sell surf board gear and hopefully will have the shorts I am looking for. Then all I need is a swim top which I can probably get at Marianne's or any other swimwear shop. I will keep you posted.
I found a store with what I wanted see my later post with 15% discount from Aguasport at 2730 Iris Street.. They have agreed to a 15% discount for anyone stating they are from the obesity help forum.
I got Jammers (mens black fitted swimwear to the knee (similar to what they wear on Biggest Loser. When I went on their site www.aguasport.ca they are offering a 25% discount from June 15-19th. They carry the men's jammer's up to size 40. (my waist is 37 so I got size 38) They have smaller yoga type jammers which are shorter up to size 44 waist. I have a size 42 bust and got a top size 14 which has to be taken in. Woohoo, it was on sale and it was size 14! DOUBLE WOOHOO!
