Hey everyone! I was planning on going to wonderland tomorrow, but someone on the site told me about how there are restrictions for people who've had recent surgery.  I'm 4 months and a bit out, and when I called Wonderland and the Bariatric clinic, they both were not sure but thought if i went I should be VERY careful.  I"m wondering how many of you went on thrill rides this early out.  I dont want to damage anything BUT, I personally think i'll be okay.  Anyone with input or advice would be very helpful! Thanks guys

After 4+ months, I would think you'd be just fine.  Just don't ride anything that's going to knock you in the gut. lol

I'm pre-op so I can't speak to post-surgery but I would think you'd be okay, just stay away from some of the rides that really knock you around. I know for me, that the Italian Job ride (I know they changed the names but I'm not sure what it is now) was an awesome ride but I always got knocked around quite a bit in it. I stick to ones like the water rapids and the 3-D FX theatre that the seats can support you a little better and avoid uncomfortable movements. I hope you have fun!

i think recent means within a month or so. You're healed up enough that your intestines arent' going to pop out or anything.

have fun!

i was  thinking on go as well but in Aug, maybe i should hold off on going until next year  just to be on the safe side, altho i only  like the water rides and a few not so fast moving rides as i get sick way  to easy and dizzy.

i just had the surgery Feb 26 so i guess its still early out and also with other health issues sciatica i really  don't want to hurt my  back.

i wonder if they  would let me on the kiddie rides ..lol that's  more my speed

Have lotsa fun if you do go !!

Good Topic,  I am going to Disney in August and had my surgery May 24th.  Didn't even think of that.
I was excited I would fit into rides, here's hoping.
I guess most rides are fine just ones that really push you around maybe not?
