Nut/Behav Appointments? Twice?

 Wish I could help, but i don't know.

I only had the initial one of each. By the time I saw the nut I was already doing a bunch of stuff: portion control, journalling, etc. and by the time I saw the Nut I had already hooked up with a private therapist and begun work.

I'm at HHRH and I'm seeing both twice.  I saw the surgeon for the second time today and he's cleared me for surgery, but I still have to see the social worker and the nutritionist again later this week.  Hopefully it's the last time I see the social worker because I didn't like her one bit!

At Guelph I saw the SW twice (she said she didn't need to see me a second time but I chose to go see her again).  The nurse and NUT I saw 3 times before I got the green sticker to move forward.
It all depends on various factors and each person is different.  I was seen three times by the nurse because they didn't receive all my test results by my second appointment.  The NUT wanted me to go back a third time because I needed to work on a few things on my food journal.

Everyone's different and there's no point in trying to compare yourself to other people. Everyone's results, tests, answers are different and the SW/NUT/nurse want to make sure that everyone is ready for surgery before they pass them through to the surgeon.
