Trying a new coping strategy

I have a 19 yo cat that is not long for this world and I have been through it before.  It hurts like hell!

So sorry Mike, never easy to make a decision like that.  It must be beyond hard.  Also so hard to work through this without self medicating.

 Just got back from the animal hospital. Thanks for everyone's kind words, it has meant the world to me!! I've come out on the other end a lot better than I would have with a belly full of numbing, fatty, sickly sweet self loathing!!

Mike I am so sorry for your loss. They truly are our best friends and there for us when no one else is. Hang in there and the sadness will end and your memories of him/her will make you smile.
