The girls are shrinking
I've been avoiding shopping even though at more than 40lbs lost, my clothes are quickly becoming too big for me. I don't want to spend the money on summer stuff when there's only a few weeks left so am trying to make do with what's in my closet. However, it became clear to me this past week that "the girls" were needing a little support. So off I went yesterday to do some bra shopping - which has NEVER been my favourite thing to do. The salesgirl measured me before I tried on - I made her do it twice because I thought maybe her measuring tape was broken (LOL). To my surprise, astonishment and utter JOY, I found that I have gone down 2 band sizes and 3 cup sizes! This is a HUGE moment for me. The last bras I purchased were G cups; not easy to find and once you do find them, they're either 3 times the price of normal bras or they look like something your grandmother ordered from the old Simpsons catalogue in the 1920's. I feel great in my new, molded-cup, well-fitted, pretty bras. Thank you RNY.
Be careful for what you wish for. I was a DD 44, in Sept 2010 and now, i am 36 D, however I am sure that once i can afford a lift i will be an A or B cup. All the fullness is gone, and there is really nothing there but alot of skin. I hope that doesn't happen for you as it's an expense I was not anticipating and would rather not do, but really need to because NO BRAs fit right. I spill out of everything cause of the lack of density, when i bend over or lay down, they fall out like water.
I am glad I am smaller but this is WAY to small and not quite the way I expected.
Good luck....

I totally agree with above, my ladies have fallen and can't seem to get up. I would love to have the surgery to fix them but it costs a lot and I just don't have the cash laying around.
Glad it has been a good experiance for you so far, it can do wonders for our self confidence. I also found that shopping at used clothing stores while I was in transition seemed to work well. and I must say I found alot of items that were brand new still with tags on them !!!!
Good Luck and enjoy the good changes!!!

I am with the others in "be careful what you wish for"...I was a 46H...and it was far easier to find bras at that size than it is now. I wear a 34D...but it has to be a stretchy cup so I can perform elaborate origami to get all the excess skin folded and pushed into the cups and the band is too big...but a 32D is a hard size to find. I can't wear moulded cups because everything just plops out.
I went for a plastics consult and Dr. Nan refused to do a reduction...said I would look like a flat teenage boy LOL

That is my biggest fear. I had a breast reduction 19 years ago.. went from a DDD to a B cup.. already with 40lbs lost i am noticing dropping.. AHHHHH I am sooo affraid of ending up with just skin hanging there.. and trust me if that happens I will be getting implants because there is no way I am going without breasts.. mind u I will wait until my weight loss goal is reached.
