Fruity Protein drink at Shoppers?
Does it have that whey protein stench? I bought the protein vials from walmart in the states and it's horrible to choke down. However it's not too much liquid (can't remember the amount in Grams). But opening up the bottle....wow!! Ick!
Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
Those protein vials, or "shots" are a poor source of protein for WLS patients. It is mostly collagen protein, that we do not easily absorb and are not recommended for post-op use. Just an FYI, in case you're using them/planning to use them.
