Hi everyone - I'm out of the hospital
Sorry for the delay in answering - was in Duluth and just both back. I had my surgeon teleconference on June 25 or thereabouts and surgery was July 22. Krista from Hamilton had originally given me a month later in August, but since I work in the school system and would be off for the summer, she was able to give me an earlier date.
Do you live in Thunder Bay, or are you from the surrounding area? I have found the Thunder Bay centre to be excellent, and hope you're having the same experience. Do you have any dates booked? How far along the process are you?

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora. Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.
Welcome home Megan, good to hear that all went well. It was very kind of Dr. Gmora to sit with you, we could all use that support.

I am from the surrounding area about 4 hours away. I am meeting with the surgeon this week through teleconference in ThunderBay and have finished everything except pre surgery class. I am hoping to have a surgery date when I see surgeon. It has been a long road but hopefully surgery will be soon. Good to hear you are doing well.Thanks for your reply.
