What are you eating/ doing today? (Thursday)

Depending on the day, I will have 1-2 shakes in a day.
If I have cheese and crackers- I weigh out up to 60g of cheese with about 4-5crackers, that's all that will fit in my pouch... People still say "Is that all you're eating?" and my answer is yes.
I sometimes eat bread, 1/2-1 slice but it's body-wise or weigh****chers or, as of recently, "wonder" thin bread.

Thank you Karen :)

You're stoma must be pretty small.....how do you process slider foods? If they go thru you then why not try some? Soups - cereal - mashed potatoes? Maybe adding a few more carbs?

Seems crazy doesnt it that you are now trying to maintain or even gain a little...

Good luck with it Leanne

I still cook tonnes of foods but I usually try to eat all my protein first. When I have salad, I sometimes put cheese or an egg or ham (or all those things and make a cobb salad) I tend to throw out a lot of food these days.
I tried to eat a plum the other day and my pouch didn't like it, didn't dump as I am not a dumper (pork chops and some sausage doesn't agree with me either) it just feels uncomfortable. It's like my pouch is screaming " get it out"

I will try to add some more foods to my plan.I have been eating more sandwiches but I can only eat 1/2, if I'm lucky. Î

Hmmm... you know, you're starting to sound a lot like me.  I've gone through a few bouts of what I would almost describe as "food aversion".  I could seriously go all day long and not eat a thing, Leanne. During these times is when I really try (hard!) to follow my daily food plan that I list here - I've also added a protein shake into my daily intake to "get my stomach moving" in the morning.

Luckily, you're not underweight and you are eating healthy. Also, you're not quite a year out yet, no telling how you'll slow down/settle once that happens.

P.S.  I can't eat more than 1/2 a sandwich either. lol

Keep trying and I'm glad to see you on this thread everyday. :)

I am pretty good at sticking to my meal plan that I put here. I may add something like nuts or something but usually depends on how hard I work or what I do thru my day.

I am 126 now.. and I am 5ft2in.. I think it's a good place to be :D

What the heck!!!!
My post showed up under someone else's name!!!!!
This is my post........

Leanne.....
I can only tell you what I'm doing and it's working....

I set out my eating plan and in between the meals I make sure i have snacks and sometimes I have mouthfuls in between that.
I can't get alot in at each sitting so I eat all day

I sometimes eat slider foods and I still drink alot.
The drinking will make whatever healthy stuff your eating a slider food.

Make sure you are drinking as you don't want to get dehydrated.
I'm putting on weight and it's a slow process but it's working.

More good calories more often.
Get it all in......some days it feels as though I wake up to eat!

My BMI is still going to be in the healthy range even when I put some weight back on......
So onward and upward......

Leanne I thought of one more thing

I see you eat alot of chicken.....if I had to pick a food to fill me up very quickly then it would be chicken....I cannot eat a full breast yet..

But I can eat 6 oz of fish.....5 oz of meat like steak....but chicken....1/2 a breast only

So - if you like fish - try some salmon - healthy and higher calories.....and you may be able to eat more as it slides

Ya, I eat alot of chicken (usually about 2-3oz when I make it).. I like it. I also have had steak, burgers, fish (only certain fish tho, I don't really like it but when I am craving it, I will eat it), and some other things. I eat as much as I can- sometimes it takes me forever. If I am not done in 45-60 mins, I throw it out or save it til the next day depending on what it is. I will try to eat different fish and also try to eat more dense foods.

Thank you Barb :)
