Things are going well for me - down 30 lbs since optifast, so that's for the first month. Can't complain about that. Slowly adding foods back in, and desperately waiting for pureed stage so that I can have some flavour back in my life. Really sick of this liquidy stuff!! LOL - not complaining, just really looking forward to the change. Have already tossed some clothes, packed away clothes are fitting, no meds right now - LIFE IS GOOD!
Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora. Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.
great to hear :) keep it up!!! its hard at first but things get better..there are still alot of things i cant handle..but im feeling great

awwww hunnie .. YOU are doing freaking amazing !!! i am so happy for you as i know how bad you wanted this change, i miss you lots and wish we could get together again. i'm gonna talk to Dave and see if he will help me out and i will make a road trip (nov ) for a visit altho i would have to bring Dusty, the rest of my pets Dave can stay at my house to look after.
