Thanks for the info Dee,
I have Dr. Zaki it says on my paper. I never had much fear going under until I had my son in my life and also having my last surgery, a gallbladder removal.. in which I had a really bad time coming out. I kept stopping breathing and the nurse was getting agitated almost yelling "breathe" to me every few moments.. then once out of recover I vomited countless times even on a teeny tiny ice chip! Had to take a bag in my lap all the way home and used it a couple times too.. I couldn't understand how when having an empty stomach to begin with I could still throw up so much, mind you it was clear and then a green yellowy colour which I think was bile. EWWWW just remember feeling so poorly. I sure hope that's not the case this time.

the vomiting could have been a reaction to the anes... (I am not typing that out all the time...lol).. My mom vomits like mad with it... I get agitated and pissed off..lol and make sure you tell everyone your history last time you were under... just so they know... I make sure to tell everyone so they know what to expect and also make sure you ask the OR nurses to pass the message along to recovery
I am still pre op but I have had 2 day surgeries in the last year for unrelated issues...
Oh have you been over night in a hospital for 24 hours (admitted) within the last year?... if so they may want to do a rectal swab on you to check for c-diff.. dont be alarmed...lol
as far as i know Guelph does not require this but because of the recient c-diff outbreak (thats now over) they may have changed protocol
