Bariatric Advantage multivitamins at HRRH

Has anyone bought the BA products at HRRH yet? I've heard they've been available there for a while. I wanted to know whether they carry the Chewable High ADEK Multivitamin, in what size container and how much it is?

Alternatively, does anyone have the pharmacy phone number?

I bought some BA stuff there. I don't know if they have that specific vitamin, but the prices weren't too bad. I especially like the sublingual B-12 tablets, they taste great and were a good price per the amount of pills you get. I did buy calcium, multivitamin and iron, because the multivitamin didn't have iron in it, but didn't use any of it. I found liquid better for calcium right after surgery and because of other meds I'm on, having to take the multi and the iron separately was difficult for my schedule. 

They did have quite a selection available though and they said that they would ship products to your house. I don't know the number but I'm sure it's available somewhere on the hospital site.

Is there anywhere else we can buy BA products locally? Do you know?

The TWH pharmacy is going to be getting them in, but they seem to be slow about it. It was supposed to be this fall and now they are saying maybe by the end of the year.

They have a Canadian website too now, but there seem to be some bugs with it, particularly with the multivits. I've sent them a message though and can post here when I hear back.

Pat, not sure if you are on FB or not but the woman in BC that carries the BA for Canada had told me to message her there or to call her.  Her name is Elizabeth Pantelidis and her phone number is 604 536 9690.  I ended up finding what I needed locally but was seriously considering going through her next time.  She also has all the BA products from the US site not just the ones from the CAN site.

She told me to just go to the US BA website and pick what I wanted but to not hit order, just write the product number down or name and then contact her and she would ship it from Vancouver so there is no duty to pay.  She also said she normally sends it expedited mail but will send just regular Canada Post if that is what we want to keep the cost down. Things may have changed as that was about 8 months ago but it may be worth a phone call to her to find out for sure.  The products we pay for in USD funds but the shipping and a $2 handling fee is paid in CDN funds.  I just checked my facebook conversation with her and she only gave me a phone number with no email addy.

Thanks, if I can't get them at a local pharmacy by the end of the year I will definitely check her out.
