? Planning (saving) for time off work
you should try and "save-up" for as much time as you possibly can afford, always better to have mor ethan you need than not as much as you need
..truly I have & had at the time a desk job and went back 2 weeks after surgery for 5 hrs/day and I was exhausted for a good two months, luckily my husband was laid off at the time and all I did was come home from work, change into my PJ's and sink into my recliner..I had absolutely no energy for anything extra. Being on your feet will totally exhaust you and while your system is getting used to the re0working of everything it takes every ounce of your being to maintain even a decent energy level...sure most people feel pretty good, but it's the exhuastion that beats us down.
I had started a new job the month before my surgery so I was not eligible for any type of leave or sick time..I had to use vacation time and didn't want to use much of that.
