I've never heard of this Muriel, can you explain it?  Sounds interesting!

The around the clock bridal shower is a theme-based shower. Each guest at an around the clock bridal shower is assigned a time on the invitation. They are then asked to buy a gift related to that time of day. Sometimes the around the clock bridal shower takes place for a full day, with guests coming and going at their invitation “times." More often, everyone comes at a specific time to the around the clock bridal shower so that all shower guests can enjoy oohing and aahing over the varied gifts.

What about a tea pot to represent high noon.

It's apparently a new thing....everyone invited gets a time and you are supposed to bring a gift that represents that time of day. The bride and groom have lived together for awhile so I'm hoping for some really different ideas.

I was looking on the internet for ideas but they really don't offer much in the way of gift ideas....
I thought of sandwich maker but that didn't sound very creative.

Lunchtime hours at the around the clock bridal shower suggest plates for a luncheon, perhaps salad plates from the bride’s selected china pattern, utensils for cooking, and sandwich makers. Afternoon hours might best be associated with small dessert servings. You might consider cake plates, a cake stand, bakeware, porcelain coffee or teapots, or a cute apron.

Dinner hours are often the easiest to shop for when you are attending an around the clock bridal shower. You can give china, flatware, pots and pans, linens, cooking utensils, wine openers, or potholders and dish cloths. For evening hours consider towels, bed linens, lingerie, fluffy slippers, throws, a subscription to services like TiVo, or bath items.

ice cream maker or smoothie machine for hot days, a tea service for afternoon tea and dessert plates. Consider giving gardening tools, a bird feeder, flower vases, a picnic basket, grocery store gift certificates or a spa membership.

Sounds like fun!  I love kitchen gadgets myself.  Call it a panini press and it's way more exciting than a sandwich maker and very in vogue.  Something I've been looking for for myself lately are more exotic flavourings like coloured salts, and truffle oil (can be bought at specialty store at several different price points only I have to get everything shipped to my little town).
