DAY 5- 5DPT Participants
Good morning everyone 
Well, here it is! The last day for some of us!
Keep up the great work for the next few days to the rest that are on DAY3
I am happy to say that I have lost 6 lbs this week, WOOT!
It was a little harder then I thought, I couldn't get all of the foods in that I had planned but ate what I could. My bf enjoyed some of the new foods that I had made as well :)
Did you lose any weight this week?
- I lost 6lbs
Did you learn anything new or re-learn "old" things?
- I learned to try some new foods
Did you learn anything new about yourself?
- I learned that I have more restraint then I thought
Today's menu is:
B- 100g source yoguart with 1/3c bran
S- egg bites
L- going for lunch with a friend- soup but will also take tuna with me and eat before work
S- protein shake
D- chicken Parmesan and veggies
S- cottage cheese and yoguart with strawberries
drive home from work- protein shake
all liquids and vitamins in

I actually can't believe this is day 5. I really think I did so well this week.

- I will know Saturday morning when I do my weigh in.
Did you learn anything new or re-learn "old" things?
- I learned that I don't need to be snacking on carby type stuff...protein first...so simple yet it slipped my mind.
Did you learn anything new about yourself?
- I learned that I have more restraint then I thought.......I agree too. And that I don't need to have food in front of me all the time.
This morning I had a couple turkey drumsticks, water and now am having low carb soup for lunch. Afternoon snack will by my protein shake and supper a piece of chicken breast.

- I learned that I don't need to be snacking on carby type stuff...protein first...so simple yet it slipped my mind.

S - one boiled egg
L - 3 oz steak and ceasar salad
S - none
D - Santa Fe chicken
S - not sure

- I lost about 2 lbs but my pants still feel a little tight which makes me sad
Did you learn anything new or re-learn "old" things?
- I learned that after being on mostly liquid for 2 days it really does take a lot less food to give you a full feeling.
Did you learn anything new about yourself?
- I learned that I still have trouble with restraint. I am completely a night snacker and it is hard for me to restrain from that or to always choose a healthy snack. I also learned that it is still just as hard for me to get in any water. I am not a water drinker and have to conciously think about it to do it.
Overall I am glad that I did this and I may do it over again next week just to try to strengthen some of the good habits that I have been neglecting. This weekend is my daughter's 18th bday and the family is coming for dinner (which will be steak so that's good) but there may be treats. I will try to stay strong!
