OT: FREE glasses at Clearly Contacts
RNY on 02/02/12
Hi Everyone,
I wouldn't normally post these things (as most have some kind of catch to them) but I've gotten their free glasses in the past.
No catch... seriously. You do need your prescription and, if I remember correctly, shipping is $10. If you chose the basic lenses (no anti-glare, not super thin lenses) the complete set of glasses will be free. I've taken advantage of this offer in the past and found that I didn't need the extras even though it was "recommended" on the site. They also have a no questions asked return policy just in case you don't like the glasses.
They say it's only for new customers but (and I'm not advocating "cheating"), if you've already used the offer in the past, you can still get free glasses by putting in a new email address.
The offer is on until Sunday but check in early if you want the best selection.
Thea

I've been wearing glasses for almost 30 years now so I kind of know what type fits my face. They give measurements of all the glasses so if you're looking for a similar style to what you now own, you can "guess" pretty accurately what looks good and what won't.
Another way to look at it: for $10 you can chose a pair of glasses that goes completely out of your comfort zone. It may be the time to try those aviator frames or pink plastic frames. Even if you only wear them at home, you still have a pair of glasses for $10. That is incredible, IMHO!!
Remember, they do allow exchanges/returns and they pay the shipping if you aren't happy with what you get.

You pick the frames and put in the prescription then when you go to check out you type in the promo code and it deducts the cost of the frames. If you need bifocals then you still have to pay for that portion, it's for single vision only.
