Support groups

I forgot to add on my first post, do any of you know about support groups in and around the Toronto area that meet on a regular basis, ie; once a week or once a month meetings in a specific place for those who have had or are hoping to have the surgery?

 There should be some on my profile.

 Dawn, I emailed the one you have listed for Scarborough and never did get a response so I'm not sure that one still exists.

I also emailed the main contact for that one and never heard back.  I am so excited tho to know about the one on highteck!

Not sure what part of the city you live in but there is a meeting today at 2pm in Richmond Hill. It falls on the 3rd Sunday of every month. It is near Bayview and Highway 7. Please let me know if that helps.

Is that the one at Loblaws on HighTech?  That is fabulous!!! Can I possibly come to the next one? 

Yes it is. I have never been, and I wanted to go today but I didn't make it there :(

So I guess the next meeting will be on March 18, which will be after my surgery instead. And I will make sure to get there!

I am at don mills and Sheppard ave.  I have my gastric bypass class on the 18th!!!
