Surgeon Appt. 8am Friday
Hey Guys! Friday morning (way to early) is my appointment with the surgeon. I am expecting to come away with a date. However I'm trying to get questions together to ask...and in the sad passing of Penny I'm lost. I'm trying not to scare myself or end up asking questions that will make the surgeon think I'm not ready... because I AM!!!
But with what happened to her I do have questions about that. Any advice? Anything you wished you asked your surgeon before the big day?
Thanks everyone!

Since I haven't made it that far yet and have no advise for you I just wanted to say CONGRATS and GOOD LUCK!! Can't wait to hear about it all once you are on the bench!!
In light of her sad passing, i'm planning on asking my surgeon (at my one year follow up) what specific signs and symptoms i have to be aware of that would indicate an emergency situation that means i need to go to emerg. In your case, i would not hesitate to mention her situation, and tell him that you understand that there is a risk, and its not deterring you from surgery, but that you just want to be as well educated as you can possibly be about what constitutes an emergency.
Best of luck.
