Trenton Support Group - March 5

I was told there was a support group that meets the first Monday of each month at 7pm at the Trenton Hospital. Has anyone out there gone to this meeting? I am new to all of this and not sure what to expect. Is it for people thinking about surgery or post-op people or both? Thanks everyone.

She (Anne the Nurse who goes) says it's for all stages.  It's hosted by a lady named Cathy. She had the surgery a few years ago.  I am pre op myself and going. Gwen said she's going too.
Us "first timers" to the support group could meet up and go in together if you want.

Sure. I am looking forward to going and meeting people at different stages. Which entrance to the hospital should we use? Any idea how many people usually show up to this?

I've just been told up to 10 people usually go, but it varies. Weather might limit some people coming out.

 I would love to join this.  Maybe we could meet for coffee afterwards and talk about forming a more informal group for ongoing support.  

If anyone has the info please forward it I work till 6p that night.  First full day back since surgery but don't want to miss this.

I got called in to work tonight at 7:30. The support group meets at 7pm on the second floor. You go in the visitor entrance by the gift shop, turn left past the gift shop and follow that corridor to the elevators. The first elevator is out of order but the second one a bit further on will take you up to 2. The conference room is just before the construction doors.

I'm still going to go for 15 ,minutes, but I have to leave for work on that same floor.
