Hi everyone,

I've been lurking on this forum for a couple of months now. I finally registered on it and
this is my first post.
I was referred to the Bariatric Centre in the Ottawa Civic Hospital in April 2011 and had my group orientation on July 15, 2011. We were told it would be another 8-9 months before we would hear from them. I'm into the 8th month of waiting now. I called to ask a couple of questions a couple of weeks ago. I was told that when I do get contacted it is going to be to make an appointment for the next step which will be in the late summer. Steps in the journey. So excited!

The long wait gives us lots of time to practice patience such as the patience to eat food VERY slowly, and to become patient patients...lol
