Thank you very much Andrea.
You've put in a very thoughful contribution, and it seems to me that no matter where in the journey your readers are, they will take away something valuable from your writing.

I myself am just about to start year 2 - my surgiversary is in two weeks.
The bad habits are starting to creep in, and I am very aware that I had become complacent, confident that my body would continue to lose. Not so! I need to pay more attention.

So your words, at this time, were exactly what I needed to hear.
Thanks again.

A surgeon just called me today.  I'm on my way to the big date.  Thank you for this frank and honest dialogue.  It's so helpful for someone still reading up and learning.  I'm hoping for the VSG for a few reasons and hope it will not be an issue and they will be on board with it too.

Again, thank you for sharing.

I will have to disown you as a friend if you by 'sensible' shoes, larger pants and a more heavy duty spanx!!!!  Our goal should be to wear those damn size 2 Tommy jeans to the June OH meeting without lying down to get the zipper up with CFM shoes!!!!
Now get your ass in  gear and get back on track!   love you  xoxox
