YOU feel like your body should be adjusting, but it's really too early for your innards to have transitioned.
If it helps at all, remember back to when you had kids.
When they're tiny-wee and they first go from milk to soft solids, there's a lot of upchucking and burping/spitting. Then we introduce them to babyfood with little bits in it, and their poor little tummies have a hard time, but after a couple of months, they're in the groove.
Whole thing takes over a year, til their stomach and intestines have learned to cope with the new types of nutrition. And that's a lot of spit-up and laundry done ....
And your schedule is very similar, though we are trying to force you intestines to learn quicker.
So take it slow and easy, and journal journal journal, every day.
It really helped me.
It makes you feel aweful and I have to go lie down and take a nap at times.......
Now that I'm farther out, I don't set a timer (as I usually did) for between bites and I'm no****ching the clock,
Thank god for My Fitness Pal to keep track of the foods I eat.....
I will be 4 weeks out on Friday. I was having a hard time drinking water, then switched to warm drinks....now, first day back at work and I can't even get the warm drink in..... UGH!!! Food-wise, I haven't ventured too far yet. Still sticking with the cottage cheese, and laughing cow. etc. I stopped taking protein drinks because I was having a reaction to them. But thank goodness for My Fitness Pal, it helps me track protein and I am doing ok. Have you tried a poached egg or there is a great cheese called Allegro. it is a lactose free cheese, and 1 serving gives 11 g protein! I know when i wasn't getting enough protein, i had no energy and felt terrible!!! Good luck!!
