I'm home from my bypass surgery. I got home yesteday but didn't feel like turning on the computer. 6 laps sites, plus a couple of strange tears that are still weeping a bit. Saw Amarettogal as we shared a room for a day.
Had some bad care but putting that behind me now. Looking forward to my new life. Bit of a shock when picking up my script at the HRRH pharmacy before leaving. 6 months of prevacid, 8 days of bloodthinner and a $10 bottle of zinc lozenges =$684!!! Holy crap. But they did give me $3 back towards my parking lol.

They prescibed me zinc since my levels were a bit low, but I only need it for a week.
The blood thinner was $188.85.

I was told that my local pharmacy would not carry the stuff I needed, so it was better to go through them. Why don't I post the amounts and you can check with your pharamcy to see if they have it without subs and the estimated cost.
It was Tinzaparin 10,000 IU in 0.5ml (4 boxes with 2 pre-filled syringes in each box)
Prevacid Fastab Lansoprazole 30mg (fast disintegrating, delayed release tabs) 30 tabs per box
