Jazzing up full fluids
I was on a cottage cheese with a dash of tomatoe juice through the blender kick, but after just 5 nights in a row for supper I couldn't handle it anymore.
Tonight I ran some lobster bisque (1/2 cup) through the blender with 5tbs light ricotta cheese and a healthy pinch of dill. So far so good. It might be pushing the full fluids a bit, because it calls for cottage cheese smashed up, but to me it seems that the ricotta through the blender should be similar. It is 120 cals, 7.5g protein. The carbs and fat are too high though 8g carbs, 6g fat.
Does anyone have other full fluid suggestions that I can sub in for supper? Breakfast is hot cereal (I just got some stuff from lowcarb grocer with 12.5g protein and 90 cal). Lunch is low fat cream soup with extra beneprotein averaging 10g protein. The ever present protein shakes make up the snacks, 30+g protein.
I've been averaging 65-70g protein each day.

The list is:
Protein supplement (mixed with skim or 1% milk)
Diluted fruit juice
Vegetable broth
Water
Milk
Sugar-free drinks (Nestle singles, crystal light)
Flavoured water (artificially sweetened)
Decaf tea or coffee
Low fat chicken/beef broth
Sugar free jello

That was it.
Pureed foods includes LF Greek yogurt; low fat cottage or ricotta cheese, scrambled eggs, hummus, cooked veggies, etc.

My centre's full fluid list is as follows:

Vegetables and fruit: vegetable juice, tomatoe juice, fruit sauce(unsweetened)
Grain products: Cream of wheat, oatmeal (plain), oat bran
Beverages: water, diet drinks such as crystal light, diet coolaid, decaff tea or coffeee
Protein supplements: protein drinks (20-40g protein and 0-5g carbs per serving), unflavoured protein added to full fluids, skim milk powder added to full fluids.
Later in the example menu page 6 full fluid sample menu it says 1/4 cup low fat mashed cottage cheese as part of supper.
