A whole bunch of NSV's (plus an SV - kinda)
Those are absolutely INCREDIBLE NSV .......
Seeing those large chunks move down the scale...WOW...I was smiling the whole time reading that victory. What a wonderful feeling.....and what a better use of time than to go window shopping.
Trust me......you will get use to going into regular clothing shops and trying clothes on. It took me several trips before I could manage to do it...but now I can not stop. From HATING to shop ....I now LOVE to try on different fashions and colours. Just remember you don't always have to buy...trying on clothes can be almost as fun.....
And a huge congrat's on throwing away the icecream......another AMAZING NSV

Thanks for your comments. The ice cream was a huge one. I'm getting better at throwing away the extras (but I still feel guilty.)

I had to laugh at the scale stones moving down instead of up. That was one of my biggest dreads about getting weighed at the doctor's office. I used to get him to weigh me with my back turned so I couldn't see the numbers and I couldn't see them moving those obnoxious stones up a notch. Great NSV's!!! So happy for you! :)

I enjoyed reading this...I'm getting my surgery on June 19th and this was really encouraging and a great thing to read....It kind of helped me remember why I'm doing this. That part about the doctor's office moving the weights down instead of up must have felt amazing. I am looking forward to a moment like that. Each year, mine has always gone up and it will be such a nice feeling to see the reverse start to happen! Congratulations on your success and on these wonderful moments you're experiencing! I can't wait to start experiencing them myself!
P.S. I'm pretty new on here, so I'm not sure what you mean when you write "NSV"....I'm clueless...and I see that one on here a lot! Not up with the lingo yet!

NSV= Non-scale victory... ways to measure your success beyond the number on the scale.
SV= Scale victory.
Having the receptionist move the weights so far down felt wonderful. Pre-op, I was afraid that I'd be too heavy to be even measured. It's awful when that happens.
Good luck on your journey.
