Protein powder samples?
Essentially I don't want to buy something without knowing whether I'm going to like it.
Completely new territory for me as I did not have a problem consuming enough protein through normal food options with my VSG, but with my DS coming up I'll need alternatives to get in the necessary amount on a daily basis.
I know a fair amount of people seem to do the Starbucks stuff, but I'm not a coffee drinker, and surprisingly I don't even think there is one in my area if I were, heh.
Any guidance is appreciated.
Also if anyone cares to share their favourites that would be great. If it helps, when I did Opti-fast years ago I preferred the chocolate over the vanilla ten fold! I could not stomach the vanilla. So I'd assume that chocolate flavours will likely be ideal.

P.S. Surgery still appears to be on track for June 5th. The hospital called today to confirm a couple things and open a file.

Also some people have posts about DynaWhey. They also offer free samples by mail. I think you have to pay for shipping though.
My fave protein powder is Weider Soy. Chocolate is the only one I can stomach and this one tastes like chocolate milk. I buy it at Shoppers and/or PharmaPlus.
I'm also a fan of the Premier Protein shakes from Costco.

I appreciate the response. I've already had the stomach portion of the surgery and I can't see my tastes changing again with just the intestinal portion being done now, but I guess you never know.
Now I just have to hope there is a Popeyes that is local to me.
