Blender with ice crusher vs. bullet
I had two purchases in the past year that has made this new cooking style easier:
1. Costco had this black and decker food processor /mini chopper / blender all in one. I have made soups / and puree survival tuna/salmon
2. zellers my newest favorite Hamilton Beach Ice shaver. (I have low iron post op and have crave ice/ apparently a side effect a low iron?)
But what ever works for you. I have the whole family using them. I was never one to have a whole bunch of stuff on the counter, but these two items don't leave. It is this time before surgery I used to be prepared post op, my freezer was full of 1/2 meals. Sounds like your doing fantastic keep up the great work. Diane

Major cheers for the Hamilton Beach Ice Shaver! I've never had such an easy time getting my water in, whether it be frozen or not! lol

I'm with you on this Karen, the ice shaver is the best. I've made virgin margarita's with crystal light favorite is lemon/lime (better than trying to find Mac's Milk slushy); and expecially chocolate protein mixed with 1/2 milk 1/2 coffee and a ton of shaved ice and it's better than Tim's ice cap. At Homesense, you can often find sugar free "Baja Bob" drink mixes to make virgin drinks too. They're delicious!

They're the liquid litre bottles, Diane, not powder. Good luck!
