Happy to report this will be my first meeting, terrified as I have anxiety being in large crowds of strangers , funny thing is overseas i loved being around Afghans and Haitians but since I'm so unhappy with my weight i tend to hide away. Hopefully this group will make me feel at ease again and i can start enjoying life once more!

i was really nervous attending my first meeting as well. I have only been to 2, but the group is not to big, and very informal, and VERY welcoming. looking forward to meetng you

Seriously though, the group isn't too large (usually around 10-15) and everyone is very nice. I really hope that you are able to join us.
