My oldest left for camp this morning...first time going to a week long camp, just happens to be in the US too!  he's on a plane without me, he's only 9...I'm sure he's having the time of his life but I just can't help feeling blue, my baby is not sure how many miles away for 10 whole days!!  the camp is in Kentucky... I did hold it together for him but as soon as I got in the car, I started balling!!  Can't help thinking I should just get in my car and go bring him back!! LOL

Moving on doesn't mean you forget about things.  It just means you have to accept what happened and continue LIVING

It's really hard, but remember you are doing this for him and he will probably make memories that will last a lifetime!

Big hugz and hang in there!

Letting go sucks!  Mine heads for college in 2 weeks and I am NOT looking forward to THE DAY!  But she must strike out on her own and we have prepared her as much as possible.  Love 'em while they're home is all I can recommend!  I hope this has something to do with your post, some think I have nothing to add nor can relate but I think I can!  Take care!  Regards, Ian
