But you would think I am going to be gone for a long time. I start my 2 weeks of opti on Wed the 15th and momma is cleaning and organizing everything in sight. I can imagine it is only going to get worse by the time the 29th rolls around. I have stockpiled for the family everything that WalMart sells.
I have taken bags and bags to the good will etc. Its a bit like nesting.
I think it is working wonders for my racing thought and nerves about the up and coming events.

I totally did the same thing... but planning for success is a very good thing!

Just think, when you get home from surgery all you will have to do is REST and HEAL!

Good luck to you on the 29th...You will do great.

Maybe you should hire yourself out, my house could use some organization.

Good thing your doing that now....on opti I found that I had NO energy after the first couple of days. Makes sense as it says right on the box "energy reduced diet" and after surgery you will be sore and also for the fist couple of months again no energy.  I am about 3 weeks and one day post op and a friend of mine had surgery done last sept. she said the no energy thing lasts about 2 months. well I guess eating very little your body has nothing to burn for energy, it's too busy burning fat.  I am still waiting for energy, ran out of breath peeling potatoes....

your on the right track, get everything done now and then no worries!

Good luck with your surgery!!!

I did the same thing, especially into my third week of Opti. I was cleaning, organizing and stocking up like crazy. I think it's a good distraction, especially if you're thinking about food and you will appreciate it after surgery. I'm so glad my house got a deep clean before surgery because my hubby is not the greatest in that department when I was post-op and resting.
