Minimal Weight loss on Opti

Everyone is different ... I lost 9 pounds on 2 wks of opti ... it's all about the liver and it looking nice and tiny when they get in ... that's all that matters :)

I've been on Opti-fast for 3 weeks. Today is my last day (YEAH) I don't think I lost even 8 lbs.
Don't worry about. It's not about losing weight on this stuff. It's about helping your liver. That's it!

I only lost a total of 12 pounds, they are not expecting you to loose a lot of weight on opti, they want your liver to shrink to make the surgery easier for the surgeon and for you! The surgeon has to lift the liver up to get to your stomach, and with less fat and a smaller liver your surgery will be less risky. So DON'T WORRY about not loseing a lot of weight on opti, as long as you are not cheating and following the program, you will be fine!!! Got a strange taste in your mouth yet? If so It is a sign of ketosis that is supposed to happen, with the liver shrinking, some people notice it and some don't. Needless to say I did and it was gross!!! lol GOOD LUCK with your surgery I wish you all the best! AND relax! Just follow the diet and your good!!!
