Can someone please recommend a good tasting Multivitamin???

 I'm only 3 weeks post op & still pretty "gaggy" with certain things. I haven't been able to get my multivitamin into me! They recommended Spectrum a shoppers life brand product but it's chalky tasting & it makes me not want to take it. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you!

 Thank you Bonnie, I'll give them a try! Just off topic, I have family in Smiths Falls. My great uncle Doug Wrightly passed away many years ago but he was a clown with The Sheba Shriners & was a bit of a "legend" there, lol! Have a great day!

 My  husband says he knows him, his son works or has works at the nursing home by the mall.  

centrum chewables are good, in my opinion :)  My thrill for the day lol.

I found them all to be yucky.  That was the toughest part of the day....getting a chewable vitamin into me.  After 8 week I switched to a regular brand and just used a pill cutter to make smaller pieces and started swallowing them.....best decision for me !!  I then switched to swallowing them whole after 3 months.

 Hi Judy, thanks for your advice :-) I'm probably going to do the same as you did! I never thought it would be as hard as it is to get in a chewable vitamin! Maybe I should switch to Flintstones, lmao, I used to love those as a kid! Have a great day!!!

I just recently had my one month follow-up at TWH and told the nurse that I jut can't take the multivitamin.  Like you, I found the chewable disgusting and just couldn't get it down without gagging or puking.  The nurse practitioner told me to just get a regular multi and swallow it.  She told me that the surgeons are now actually saying that there is no need to chew or crush pills anymore, not even at the hospital after surgery.  So I went and bought a bottle of multis and swallowed the tab no problem.  Since then, I've also swallowed Tylenol as well with no problem.  It's so important to get them in and I am feeling much better now :)

I take a prenatal vitamin - no name brand - kinda big but can swallow with no issue.

in the beginning I would chop it in half, until I could swallow hole.

my clinic has always preached pre natel - comes with a little extra of everything including iron.

I'm two weeks post op and had a friend buy some Bariatric Advantage Chewable Multivitamin and Mineral Berry Tablets at Humber Hospital in Toronto. To buy them online was going to cost a fortune for shipping over the border. I have no trouble with them and they taste fine. I also got the iron tablets as they don't include the iron in the multi - I think so people can add how much iron they need individually.
