So...would it be bad?

Would it be bad or desperate looking if I called my Centre asking if they have booked me for an appointment yet?

I am very much the type of person who likes to know things well in advance...I mean I still waiting to hear back from my doctors about any previous surgeries I had ( I remember having a bunch when I was kid...)

I know I am not suppose to rush things, all will come in good time. I just really would like to get the appointments soon, so I can schedule work/vacation time...Christmas coming...bah I can't believe I said that...someone smack me with a pillow!!

What centre are you with and when did they get your referral? Some centres have longer waits than others.
Sometimes the best support  you can get isn't all purple puddles and pink rainbows.

I'd call with my sweetest most professional voice (cause they like that better than cranky demanding people for some reason, lol) and ask.

Good luck!

It doesn't hurt to ask. Since you're local, you could slip into a cancelation easy enough and you should raise that point to them. You know, just checking in for an update if any.

i would call, very sweetly, and ask them if they've had the opportunity to do this, yes. Explain to them how you appreciate how busy they are, but you'd just like to organize your time as best as possible.

AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH christmas!!! nooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I like this approach..get a better response or even more of a opportunity to build a repoire with the person POSSIBLY making those arrangements.

I once sent flowers to a receptionist because of the wonderful extremes she went to make stuff move for me.

prior to surgery 323lbs....4 years post-op maintaining between 108- 114 lb loss.

life is AMAZING when you continue on the right path~!.  Use your surgeons gift to the fullest~!
