I finally did eat something for lunch... extra lean pastrami and an Astro 0% yogurt with 10 grapes.
I realized I needed the fuel for Zumba tonight.

Good afternoon :)
Exceptionally busy day at work today - had a 3.5 hour Committee meeting this morning (my gawd, I had to pee so bad!), grabbing lunch now (I'm laughing at how truly BAD what I'm eating is), then wrapping things up for yet another Committee meeting tonight! Won't get home 'til around 9:30 or so. And I'm already tired, FYI. LOL
Anyway, enough of my whining. The uh... special at the cafe today is ummm... poutine with homemade gravy, fresh cheese curds and shredded chicken. And YES I bought it and YES I'm eating a little of it. And no, I don't think I really feel too bad about it. LOL
Eats for today:
6.5 years post-op (maintenance & a treat)
B - coffee with milk
S - nothing, still in meeting damnit AND I wasn't drinking coffee or water because I knew I would have to pee and I can't leave Council Chamber. LOL Inhumane working conditions I tell you!
L - about 3 oz chicken, handful of cheese curds, gravy and about hmm... I would estimate 12 fries and I am damned full, let me tell you.
S - ha. yeah. I don't suspect I'll be needing one.
D - veggie beef soup, 21 g cheddar, 2 crackers

Last day of work today, so I didn't have a chance to log on this morning and post. But it's the same old menu, like shrinkingeve:

Busy day! I still haven't gotten my earplugs...I'll have to run out tonight. Got my surgery time tomorrow - I have to be there bright and early at 7 a.m., which is great - less time to obsess! Spent all day cramming some training in with the person who is filling in for me at work today, my mom arrived tonight (she and hubby are ordering in for supper), and I'll pack tonight for the hospital. I'll have to go find those bookmarks with what I should bring to the hospital, although I know I'm going to pack lightly.
Didn't sleep well last night - I guess I'm nervous. I don't expect to sleep all that well tonight either, but that's okay, because I can watch the American election returns tonight if I can't sleep. (If Romney wins, then I REALLY won't be able to sleep...) Whoops, sorry, I forgot, no politics here. :)
Anyhow, I'll see everyone on the other side of the anaesthesia! I'll bring my phone and send an update from the hospital when I can. :)
