You are not a big baby. You are about to take a big step. You can allow yourself some slack. Good luck

You will do great!!!  Once you get there everything will happen fast :)  Ask for an ativan...it will calm you down...I wound up napping while I waited for them to come and get me for surgery and believe me I was freaking out about the surgery prior to that.

Good luck...and try to relax...just go with the flow ;-)

You are not a baby.  You are very courageous.  You are taking a big step towards getting your life back for you.  It can be scary, exciting and all of the emotions you feel.  But you'll be fine.  See you on the bench when you wake up!

I was surprised that I had emotional moments during the surgery and afterwards.  Rest assured, it will be worth it -  take it one day at a time and be patient and kind with yourself.  I'm about 4 months out.
