I get socks at the DOLLARAMA.  I got these great knee highs that are fantastic and also thick woolies.

I will look into those.  On the ebike I am FREEZING, even with "activity pants".

Thanks for posting!  I am ALWAYS cold!  I can't believe this!  I usually sweat at night any time of the year, and during the winter I could wear shorts and a t-shirt during the day and be fine, and now I am bundling up IN the house!  lol

I did find a pair of fleece pants at Zellars (this one is not closing until March 2013 liquidation begins on boxing day but they do have a lot of clearance sales as they are getting everything from the other stores that have closed) and these are actually warm!  I will kee*****is in mind when I am at or almost at goal!  about 55-60 pounds to go!  79 pounds lost! YAAY!!!

Thanks!

Melissa!

That's amazing, a size 4!  Good for you!  Nice NSV!

It'll be a while before I can fit into those tights you mention, even at the larger sizes, but it's good to know they're out there. :)

I'm only a little over a week out from surgery, but there were a couple of nights this week where I was so cold that I had to get up, put on a granny nightgown and home-knitted heavy socks!

I wondered whether it was because of the rapid weight loss over the past few weeks of opti and WLS, but the truth is, I have always gotten easily chilled, and sometimes the only thing that warms me up is a nice hot bath.

Posts like this scare me as I'm pre op and never seem warm enough I sleep with a heating pad under me an electric blanket and down duvet on top.  I'm waiting for those hot flashes, looking forward to the warmth, do you get hot flashes after WLS or are people always cold.  A while back someone posted about cashmere pajamas I'm looking for some now even old sweaters that can be used, yikes we have no snow yet either and our days have been not bad.  Congrats on the find re warm tightswink

Let's put it this way, if you are cold now you won't get HOTTER after surgery, except sexually.  That might warm the bed.
