The letter!!, and OT - the weekend!
What a grey cold day...*shiver*. The only bright point is that I got a letter from St.Joe's in Hamilton that I have my first appointment on January 30th!! Woohoo!! I know I know It's like two months away...But I think this will be were my brain will finally be like "yup, you go girl, your really starting this life changing and wonderful journey!"
I just have one question for all you "Vets" who have gone through St.Joes, or even maybe it is the same at the centre's for this part. In the letter it says I need to have to the blood test done 4 - 5 weeks prior to the appointment. I was thinking of going next Monday...Do you think that will be ok? And do you know if they send the results to the Bariatric Clinic? or do I have to go back and pick them up?
Off Topic.......
To all of you who sent me strength and prayers I thank you very much! I had a great weekend with my grandfather and cousins, My aunt who has been staying with him, asked us to try not to cry infront of him, I tried my hardest not to in the room, but as soon as I stepped out I tell ya I was like Niagara Falls. I am glad I got to say my goodbyes and share the good times with him. I know he knows he is loved and will be missed but I think my grandmother and mother are waiting to greet him at those pearly white gates.

All you need is for the blood tests to be done in time to get sent to the bariatric clinic. You can tell the lab to send the results to the bariatric clinic. Or get copies yourself and bring them in next time you go (or keep a copy and express mail a copy).
