rooster brand chicken in the asian food section (loblaws and superstore have it) i throw in a drop of rooster hot chili sauce, and yummy! really hits the spot.

 

And its only 6.99 for a massive 1kg tub

Good to know.

When I was on opti I would have the little broth cubes from the $1 store. I would look forward to that broth so much. After opti, I haven't drank broth at all. I have used a cube here and there when I was cooking quinoa. Perhaps I'll try a mug of that next time the nightime head hunger rears its head.

I loved the Blue Menu chicken broth while on opti.....haven't had it since then. Must remember to buy some soon. Thanks for sharing your fave!:)

I used the brand Kitchen Basics.  Excellent flavour and it actually had 5g of protein in 250ml.
