CRAZY Trans-Canada Challenge: Time to post your weekly mileage

Good morning, everyone!
Well, illness ha**** my home BIG TIME so I've been rather absent from the boards in the past several days. I know there are more of you who've joined the challenge but I have yet to assign your teams. I promise to get to that sometime today.

I'm rather annoyed. Along with a raging sinus infection I seem to have misplaced my FitBit. My mileage is certainly less than optimal but I'll have to guesstimate that I've done about 10K this week. Honestly, I haven't spent so much time on my couch since my pre-op days. I'm hoping this nastiness will abate soon and I can get back to my usual level of activity.

I hope you all had better weeks than I did. Remember, December's Challenge Within a Challenge is to do for others. Please email me any updates you have on that, as well. Just a reminder: my email address is [email protected]. You can send me anonymous emails from the gmail account that I've set up. The address is [email protected] and the password to access the account is obesityhelp.

Have a wonderful week, everyone!

I managed to get in 20 kms this week as the weather here has been under -25 degrees with the wind and that has slowed my walking.

Hopefully I get more kms in this coming week as the temperatures have rising quite a bit and the wind has died down too.

Linda

Did 6 km this week and I am getting over this sinus cold - there are some really bad ones getting around and they are hard to shake. Get better soon.

Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

Hope you mend well Thea! I have used a box and a half of kleenex since yesterday noon and got turned away from visiting my friend at the TGH who had a double lung transplant last year (she was doing well then her white blood cells as much as disappeared and they flew her in an air ambulance from PEI to Toronto) because of this dang cold!  Grr!  If you pray say one for Melissa, if you don't pray send her positive vibes please (not here, just for her by yourself thanks).

On the mileage front I didn't do poorly but want higher numbers, for "Your Pace or Mine" I did 61 kms.
