Antihistamines & benedryl?

I am suffering allergies right now and was wondering if I could take any antihistamines or benedryl?

I can't say for sure, but I have used them since my RNY with no problems. I just know we can't have anti-inflammatories (ie/ Advil).

I have been on reactine before during and after surgery for my allergies. I also took Benadryl after surgery (liquid) because I was very sniffly. Now I am on a steroid nasal spray.

Orientation - April 25, 2012, Nurse - May 16, 2012, Social Worker - May 25, Dietician - May 25, 2012, Abdominal Ultrasound - June 29, 2012, Cardiologist - August 1, 2012 Pre-Surgical Education Class September 19, 2012, Meet with Surgeon September 27, 2012, PATTS November 9, 2012, Surgery Date November 16, 2012 (Dr. Mamazza)

I have a Flonase (Fluticasone nose spray) to help with allergies. I find that over the last year my allergies have been worse.
